Es waren sogar mal einige "Fehlexemplare" im Umlauf mit blauen Farbspritzern auf der Motorhaube. Das wäre egal, wo finde ich sowas und zu welchen Preisen ? Danke schon mal für jede Hilfe ... It seems everybody has the Corolla WRC from Rui Madeira except me I see you have only modern rallyecars. Don't you like the older stuff? 60's/70's/80's, etc Best regards from Portugal: Pedro Oliveira

Finally the collection was launched. A big disappointment. The detail is nothing like the Sainz Collection. It's the normal Altaya detail - black interiors, etc, etc. At least the models come with the full acrylic case. The list of models is interesting mainly for portuguese collectors and the offers are what I said in the first post. Here goes the full list: 1. FORD ESCORT RS1800 - JOAQUIM SANTOS / M. The 2nd will be one trailer and the 3rd some mechanics. But the 4th is the best. It seems they will give a diorama of one corner of the Arganil special stage. It really looks promissing. My only doubt is the detail of the models. They launched a preliminary collection a couple of months ago only in some parts of the country. Only came out the Escort MKII "Diabolique" and the Lancer Evo8 from Armindo Araujo. Both mode ...

Andre: Very interesting subject! I'm a big fan of Auto Art models. Even when they have some mistakes, usually I prefer them to Ixos because the molds are usually great. In this case, I never saw the AA in person but, from pics I've seen, it looks very good. The Ixo is quite good and much better than all the other (except the AA). I also save the boxes in case I get a better representation of the model in question. But that's not the point. I was talking about guys who don't buy certain models because of the looks of the box or because it's a special edition or not. It's different. Regards: Pedro Oliveira

First of all thank you Pedro for the very nice comparison of those two models. I also have the Vitesse model, but the interior is not that bad. The model have seat belts and decals on the inside. The position of the lateral decals, is different on both models and much more accurate on the Ixo. The Ixo has a “Martini Racing” decal on the rear windows and the Vitesse hasn’t. In this case I can’t say which is more accurate because I don’t have a pic of the real car (from this rally) from behind. The decals on the doors simulating the opening system, look much better on the Ixo. Also, the Ixo has small decals for ...

My older Models of the 131 (1977 & 1978) from Trofeu also have the small Rearlights. So i think fiat changed the Lamps on the roadcar during 1980 (Facelift ?), and so they do it on the Rallye-Cars too.
