Aren't the Vitesse models with driver and codriver?
Your diorama is very nice, I like it.

Thank you Andreas
The model is from Minichamps, not Vitesse. I meant the base, where the model stands on, not the model car itself. Sorry for the missunderstanding.

Great work Andre:
It looks fantastic. The base is from a Vitesse/Skid model. Probably from those special editions MC Winners. Am I wright?

Hi Pedro,
thank you very much
yes it is a base of the Winner edition from Vitesse. I have some of them around and do not need them anymore. The dioramas take only a little space in the room to show some classic rallye stage.

Talking about the packing of some models, reminds me of some situations sometimes I get from time to time. As you and the rest of the guys who read my posts know, besides being a collector like all of you I also sell some models. Since I began selling models, I found all kind of collectors with all kind of different ideas regarding boxes and packaging.
There are some that if the box has a little crack (even if it is a very small thing) start complaining. There are others who simple don't care - people who collect models and not boxes (like myself). But one of the funniest/strange situations I've found, is a guy who only wants to buy models who come in a rectangular box (like Ixo,Minichamps). The guy only collects rallye cars. I've explain to him more than one time that if he wants to have some interesting models like the old kit Cars (306 Maxi, megane Maxi, etc) and some old but very good Vitesse models he will never have them in is collections because there are no editions in rectangular boxes.
For me this is completely stupid (hope he is not reading this ). Someone who thinks and acts like this is not a real model car collector. But this is just my opinion.

Hehe, collecting Boxes is really strange...
But he is not alone. In another Forum is a guy, who give s a lot of money for Models when they have a Socket wich say "Limited" "Pormo" etc.
The same Model on a regular Socket costs 35.- Euros, he give over 100.- Euro for the same Model only with another Print on the Socket.
Crazy.....

Models with original boxes can be reselled at a higher price, that is the reason I keep the boxes. I do not want to resell my models, but if a better one is announced I maybe will. _________________

I also save the boxes in case I get a better representation of the model in question. But that's not the point. I was talking about guys who don't buy certain models because of the looks of the box or because it's a special edition or not. It's different.
