In my opinion the Autoart and the IXO are the best models. On the first look i like the IXO more than the AA but i have to compare the models itself. Maybe i have one AA next week, due to ebay, than i can make a comparison of both models.

I like the Autoart most, because of the lamps and the seatbelts.

The IXO chassis ist nice, but the rear wing is horrible.

The rear wing changed from 2003 to 2004 and the older IXO models compared to the AA have the same nice wing.

Very interesting subject!
I'm a big fan of Auto Art models. Even when they have some mistakes, usually I prefer them to Ixos because the molds are usually great. In this case, I never saw the AA in person but, from pics I've seen, it looks very good. The Ixo is quite good and much better than all the other (except the AA). If you get the AA version and if you have time, try making a review. It would be really interesting.
